In WT neurons, transfected GFP-wtSOD1 predominantly colocalized in the cytoplasm and the nucleus, whereas transfected mtSOD1 localized in the cytosol. Scale bar=50 µm. (B) Cortical neurons were transfected with wt and mtSOD1, and then mislocalization and cell death were examined by DAPI staining.
