The levels of SHP1, SHP2, PTPD1, and PTP-PEST bound to WT- or T474E-FAK were analyzed using antibodies specific for each protein. (B) Cells transfected with FLAG-WT-FAK or FLAG-T474E-FAK were treated with NSC-87877, an inhibitor of SHP2, and the levels of pY397 were determined by Western blot analysis.
