(A) LPS (1 µg/ml) or vehicle (water) was used for 6 h treatment following 30 min pre-treatment of GSK (1 µM, LRRK2 kinase inhibitor) or vehicle (DMSO). Images of Tom20 (red) and Hoechst (blue)-stained BV2 cells were obtained using the Airyscan mode of the LS55 confocal microscope. Scale bar=10 µm (n=3, number of cells=10~11, number of mitochondria measured=412~1042). Both elongation (B) and area (C) of mitochondria were measured using the Image J program. The statistical analysis was performed by one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) with Tukey's post-hoc test.
